WHERE MUSIC MEETS STORY
Clarence Jey here — Record Producer and Songwriter.
TennTones is my creative sandbox - a place where music, ideas and stories come to life. It’s where I collaborate with artists, filmmakers, production companies, brands and organizations to create original music, develop new ideas, and help bring an existing creative vision to life.
From records and artist projects to film, television, theater, campaigns and special productions, every project is different. Our approach is intentionally personal: understand the story, find what makes it distinctive, and create music that serves the bigger picture.
TennTones brings together the creative environment of a boutique Nashville studio with the experience, ears and tools to work across genres, cultures and mediums - from independent projects to productions reaching audiences around the world.
Whether we’re starting with an idea, a song, a story or a nearly finished production, the goal is the same: make something original, meaningful and memorable.
If you have a project or an idea, I’d love to hear about it.
Best,
CJ

About TennTones - NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE
Analog / Digital Hybrid Set Up
TennTones is a boutique studio based in Nashville, Tennessee — just a short drive from downtown, in the quiet suburb of Brentwood. At the heart of the studio is a rare RCA recording console from the late ’60s, originally housed in the legendary RCA Studio A in New York.
We love blending the rich, warm tones of vintage analog gear with the flexibility of today’s digital tools — it’s our favorite way to bring the best of the past and future together in every session.
